  This is the first time I post here.  TIA for your help!  
  As a pattern flying beginner, I built my 1st pattern plane "Aurora 60 " (MK kit) a year ago.  It was a great experience.  Now I am looking forward to building my 2nd pattern plane with a 1.4 size engine.  I found the typhoon 2000 and the typhoon 2+2 at the Gator r/c website.  Anybody knows the differences?

  Can both be scretch-built with balsa wood?

  Other than typhoon, is there a similar plan or kit out there?
