There is also excellent tuning theory on the Bolly. AU "Bolly Book"
page...offers good explanations of the theories, and how to calculate...then
you make a 'best guess', and fly....because airborne unloading affects
motor/prop combos differently, the "ground" measurement may not be optimal
in the air.
You can get close, but as friend Dave Lockhart (also his Dad), and
others - like Dick Hanson - have all said in the past....
"there is no "x" number for a certain pipe/motor/prop....just too many
variables"
