Hi Jon,
The 17-13 is the right load and has good brakes, while the 17-12 is actually a bit light with slightly better brakes. If you are looking for is great quiet with kikller brakes, you take a 15-3/4 X 13 three-blader and heat twist the blades down to an 11 or 11-1/2 inch pitch. I'd start with an 11, and low nitro. Really strong 160 setups (with a fair bit o' nitro) can run the stock pitch. Heat twisting the blades requires a monokote heat-gun or two, and a pitch gauge. Try to twist as close to the hub as practical, which is only an inch and a half away, or so.

Regards,
	Dean P.
By the way, how's Dad?

Subject: Prop suggestions OS 1.60

I have an OS 1.60 in a Titan, Mueller header, Greve pipe, Iron Bay regulator, Hyde mount with nose ring, and will run 15% nitro most of the time. Need starting suggestions for props. I've seen 17x13N and 17x12 suggested on the RCU site for the 1.60. Other suggestions?

I'm also confused about the "N" and no "N" configurations of APC props. Appears from the APC website, that some of the "N" designated props are Pattern, and others are 140 Pattern. Also, some of the no "N" props appear to be either. Is there any ryhme or reason to this?

Thanks.
