Thanks Dean,
It seems you have enough material for quite a few columns yet!
Maybe a refresher on skills we need progress to, for each class and required trimming?Rodney 2906

That's very kind, Rodney.
One of the biggest appeals to me, of a forum like this, is the "intelligence" it provides. If when someone asks a question, I toss an answer into the pile, then you know there's going to be a column about it. The ones where there is no simple answer: Nat's trim question of two weeks ago, or the 2C versus 4C servo current with soft mount comparison that we saw a few days ago; those become research projects ... and I can usually milk those for several columns!
What subject do you want covered?
Dean

(Sillyness continued). . . . which other deranged maniacs, from far and wide, have the curious habit of cutting out his Pattern articles and keeping them in an ever growing file marked: "Pattern Stuff". :-) And foto-copying them for folk at the field, who say things like. .
"What´s the best way to support a fixed gear mounting, then?"
"I think Pappas wrote something about that very thing. Would you like a copy?" I reply.
"Thatlebenice. Has he done anything on servos, right thrust and all that trimming stuff?"
"Ummmmmm, yea about 130 odd pages worth, over the years, but you can get your own bloody fotocopies, I´ll wait at the Starbucks across the street. . . . . . "

Now why would you want to keep those old issues, only deranged maniacs write for that magazine!
Feeling silly,
