You should be able to find what you need regarding metals at: http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/tables/thexp.html  There's a bunch of other stuff that you might also find interesting there. The physical specs for plastic are more difficult, as there are so many varieties.

  Could someone (Gray) furnish me the expansion coefficients for alum, brass, steel and plastic (Perry style). Also, with the remote heat guns is it possible to measure the carb case and engine crankcase temperatures during a bench run ?
