Chad -
In my opinion, the best and cheapest way is to use "FEDEX Ground."
However, there seems to be some differences between offices. The correct
"class" of shipping is "OS2" or "Oversize 2." This is important because
it describes box dimensions that exceed normal shipping, but for less than
50 lbs in weight. One FEDEX manager showed me the description. It should
cost around $35 for the shipping. If they quote you something outrageous,
be direct and ask to read the OS2 category of shipping. It is pretty
simply stated, something like, "for packages that exceed X dimension
overall, but are less than 50 lbs, use this price, etc."
Anyway, make sure they give you the 'correct' shipping category or it
could be very expensive.

Subject: Shipping
I want to ship my planes from Muncie to near the US/Canada border after
the Nats to avoid hauling them across Canada for another contest. What is
the best (cheapest) company to use? Two boxes 80"x20"x12" about 30 lbs
each.
Thanks in advance
Chad
