Subject: Webra 145/160, are parts interchangable?

I have an older Bully/Webra that has the steel sleeve and about 175 flights on it. To save weight and give the engine a "tune-up" I was considering purchasing one of the AAR cylinder liners and a new ring. I went to the Horizon web site and found that the AAR cylinder liner alone for the 145 is $153, and the cylinder/piston/ring assembly is $216. However, for the Webra 160 the AAR cylinder/piston/ring assembly is only $146, that's less than just the cylinder for the Webra 145.

  So my questions are:

  1. Is it possible to simply swap out just the cylinder/piston/ring assembly in the 145 with the ones from the 160, or is it necessary to also swap out other components such as the connecting rod and the crank?

  2. If this swap is possible, and I essentially upgrade to the 160, will it run as well as the 145 did without the MC carb?

  Thanks,
  Keith Black
