YS140L Problem

I have an L crankshaft that does not have the plug installed,  It seems that 
if the hole in the crank is plugged that you may reduce  lubrication of the 
cam area. Could it be that those who complained that the cam  area was lacking 
lubrication have engines with a plug in the crankshaft  hole?
