8411 conversion to SA

Bob,
Yes, I have seen and felt the slop on ground. However, with this type of digital servos I can NOT feel any difference when fly. My point is: If I can not feel any difference why we need to change the gears? Probably the reason is that are digital servos and the servo can compensate so fast to the slop that normal human "precision" can not feel any change. It will be interesting to get the JR engineers opinion in this regard or the JR Team pilots.

Vicente, the metal gear servos develop slop in the gear train almost immediately, worsens through the first 50 flights, and stays SLOPPY. That's why most of us change the metal gears to the nylon, and the same reason JR offers the 8411 and 9411 WITH "nylon gears", as the SA versions.
ON every 8411 I've changed, I have immediately noticed the slop GONE. It is worth it.

I have a question in regard the conversion from metal to nylon gears. I have two planes one is older. Both with 8411 and 9411 metal gears. When I flew the new one with new servos I could not feel any difference in the air compared with the old plane. The new plane didn't not have any noticiable slop. Now both have develop some slop and looks like the slop does not change with time. I can feel the slop with my hands but I can not feel it in the air. Both planes are flying great. Are you guys having the same experience? if yes, why we need to replace the gears?
Please don't tell me that I am too old to feel the difference. I know that the first problem you notice is that trim changes continuosly. Unfortunetely, this could be true since I am more than 50 forever.
