Glow Plugs

I do not use after run oil after each flight.  I fly three to four times per week......I run the motor dry after each session, but that's it.  If I know I'm not going to be flying for a very long period of time, then I will use a few drops of Mobil-1.

  I found that if I used too much after-run oil it would collect around the head when in storage (I store mine level, belly down) and the next time I tried to start it the compression of the oil would damage my glow plugs. I stopped using so much and now only use about five drops and don't seem to have as much problem with the plugs.

    Help-
    I have to change plugs on a Webra 1.45 about every dozen flights....... I'm sure it's not a mixture problem.  The plugs are OS-F plugs...... any ideas what the cause might be??
