>This should be close enough to "on topic".....am considering replacing the
current hauler, and looking at Dodge Grand Caravans....are they easily
adapted to our 2M fuses? Are they "contest capable" vehicles??
Possible to carry two birds, two pilots, two sets of support stuff??
Pros and cons welcome....email direct, if you like. Thanks in advance!!

Bob,
I own one. It is an amazing coincidence (VBG) that I happened to check the
distance between
the rear of the front seat and the tail gate. Would you believe 80 inches.
I frequently carry a Jekyll and a Legacy Lite to the flying field neither
one has any sort of a length problem when putting them in. Probably have 10
inches or so available left over. I built myself two 2' by 4' platforms
which I lay on top of the folded down front and rear seats. Over this I
place a canvas drop cloth. Planes go on top. Between the rear seat and the
tail gate I have room for a field flite stand, my flite box, two
transmitters laid flat side by side, and a few spare props. I usually slide
a folding chair behind the front seat under the platforms. I would be very
surpriesed if you didn't have enough room for two 2 meter ships and the
gear for two people,.
Car rides very well and I run just over 20 mpg on the road. BTW, mine also
has a roof rack which I don't use but could if needed.
