Minivans schminivans!!!! What you need is F-250 SuperDuty CrewCab. The bed is 81" long (3 inches longer than the F-150 standard box) so those 2 meter fuses fit in length wise, and the cab has enough room for 5 widebody pilots.

Guys, just to add. The new 2004 Dodge, and Chrysler minivans have all rear seating that actually folds down flush with the floor. You no longer need to store the seat in your garage and use up valuable space. When the seats are in the up position, the compartments that the seats fold down into can be used for storage.

As in Mark Atwoods set-up, which I have seen and am going to incorporate into my new minivan when I get it, is a great idea. Looks very neat for those us that are very picky.

Hey Bob...

Caravans are VERY capable for that. I have some very simple racks (Pictures available if you desire) that hold two 2M birds very solidly and completely off the floor...allowing the entire base of the van for support equipment. The racks are quickly and easily removed; however they're designed to allow the first row of captains chairs to remain IN the van and simply folded down when you want to put planes in.

Oh...and the new Caravans have a power outlet in the back that can be "unswitched".

This should be close enough to "on topic".....am considering replacing the current hauler, and looking at Dodge Grand Caravans....are they easily adapted to our 2M fuses? Are they "contest capable" vehicles??
Possible to carry two birds, two pilots, two sets of support stuff??

Pros and cons welcome....email direct, if you like. Thanks in advance!!
