Oil content for 30% CP heli fuel

Correct its a thinner oil (lower Viscosity)...but the actual content is around 22-23% from what I understand...

Important note is that engine manufacturers have to put limits on the fuel so that some BOZO will not claim that the motor was junk when he ran no oil in his fuel.

After talking with many fuel people over the years the oil content is very dependant on the type of oil used. In the synthetic oils they have guidelines and some of them might take less oil by volume to do the same but might cost 5X or 10X as much to buy.....So the result is a fuel manufacturer choosing an oil that both makes his fuel to the lubrication needed plus makes his fuel cost effective to his customers.

I'm not really an expert on fuel I have run a bunch of them. I keep coming back tot he Cool Power...I believe many of the Magnum fuels are around 18% oil...and these work well in the YS motors and the 2 strokes too. The #1 is around 25% and the #2 is around 30% the DZ heli is the #2 Heli blend...

I have not run Magnum in years. But like many other local fuels there are good ones.

I run Cool Power because I found it to be a more consistent and easier to get product. Where ever I go Morgan Fuels are readily available anywhere in the country. They are top notch in the quality department and I have the best consistency of all the products I have run. This is why I choose the Cool Power over some other fuels.

With the Cool Power I don't need to worry about how much oil is in...or how much nitro...or if it will be a rusty mess when I open my motor....Bottom line is I don't have to worry about fuel contents as the people at Moran take care of for me and they know what they are doing.

From my understanding, with the CP Heli it is not as much the oil content as it is the type of oil used. Is this correct Troy?
