The functionality of Loctite is to fill the gaps within mated threads so that 
stress reversals don't result in movement between the parts, resulting in a 
natural camming action in the "come apart" direction. The different colors 
depict (anaerobic) fillers that cure to different hardnesses, therefore 
determining the force required to fracture the "sealer" for disassembly. That being 
said, the bolt material is of little consequence, as long as it's material (or the 
driver geometry slot, hex, etc.) can handle the torque required to 
disassemble.
