There are several hotel/motels at the intersection of I-10 (also known as Katy Freeway) and FM 1960 (also known as Rt. 6).  The following are all located very close to the intersection.  From one of these hotels, you would travel south on Rt. 6 to Westheimer, turn right, then turn right at first light into George Bush park and there you will find Scobee field...probably about 5-10min. from I-10 and Rt. 6.
