1/2 speed

Yeah, they are heavy (the 90 lists at 28 ozs, about the same as a YS91). I didn't know if the ability to swing a much larger prop made up for the weight penalty. From what I read, that one of the advantages of the electrics were their ability to turn large props slower.

    Has anybody used one of the RCV 4-stroke engines where the prop turns 1/2 engine speed? I was thinking of trying the 90 size in a 60/90 size pattern plane. Their website recommends up to an 18x12 - 2 blade or a 15.5x12 four blade for the 90.
