What about those plastic fuel line "pinchers"...? They use them on pylon racers but I forgot who makes them.

Thanks Chad... I'm just not a fan of something hanging from the plane (fuel line) all the time.

I have used the hemo's for two years on the same fuel line, never had a problem.

Thanks Troy. I agree with the hemostat use... I'm not a fan.

      Derek,

APC 17-12 Standard works great 8600-8800 on CP 30% heli
      Tank size Tettra 20oz.

Same fuel consumption as the 140DZ. I get about 11-12mins of sequence flying land with a little fuel. This is about the same I got on the 140's Nothing to notice different.

Tank layout I will send you a picture of what I do to isolate the tank from the motor when its not running. I don't use the Hemostats. They will pinch the line and crush it. After time they will cause the line to rupture or split at the point where the hemos are used.

I just got one of these motors and I'm looking for info.

        1. What prop is best?
        2. What size fuel tank? I know the 140DZ was a thirsty beast so I'm assuming that the 160 is the same, or perhaps they've fine tuned the thirstyness.

        3. Instead of the using the angled fuel lines that come out the fuse and are pinched off with a set of haemostats. what other ways can one use to pinch off the fuel line to prevent flooding?
