Thanks for all of the help guys,
I think I'll contact Ken, I spent some time chatting with him at the D4 finals, real nice guy.  I think this plane would be a nice step up from my Quest, before going 2 meter.

Both planes can out fly me, but I'm working on it.

  I flew one for years and liked it very much.. Had a OS 61 pumped long stroke in mine... You might want to check to see if it has the carbon bands in the fuse to stiffen it up?  That is a steal of a price since I sold mine rtf - (RX) for over $800.00..

    I know there are a lot of more important issues on the discussion board right now, but I need some feedback on a LA-2 that I have seen for sale, on the NSRCA site.

    Has anybody flown one of these and how did you like it?

    The price seems reasonable for a ready to fly, minus receiver, with a YS-91.

    Any help would be appreciated.
