Orlando:
Here is the link to the program I am planing to use this year. The program is called PACSS. I don't know other CDs experience using the program. I know that this program has been used with very good results in many contest in my district. Check this link.

Gene Maurice can give you a lot more detailed explanation if you need more information. I have been checking the program and it is very ease to use. More important it is "free down load" I am not sure when the deal will end.

Possibly you may want to elaborate on that by sending an example of a spreadsheet as to how you would propose it.

Just FYI, I go to about 6-8 contest a year in D5 and D6. All of them are using computers for scoring. I am almost sure that you are referring to a single contest with very low participation. Probably, it is time to change.

Thanks Chris:
No, don't think that is huge undertaking for a computer expert. The big work is already done since all the information is already in electronic form when we finish a contest. It is more difficult to develop the statistiscal model but looks like we already have one.
I think NSRCA needs to have it as a goal. It will be good idea that the first requirement to be processed in the database is that the person needs to be a NSRCA certified judge. Probably, we will see more pilots not only be more willing to judge but also be certified.

I agree Vince.
HUGE undertaking, but the results would be fantastic. Imagine the ability to compare yourself to all judges across the country. Now that's motivation to better yourself at your craft.
Hmmm..... At the same time, how about a national PILOT ranking system, similar to the one used in the USTA ( Tennis ). I believe they know their rank in their given class on a national basis. Might be kind of fun, and good for us guys who can't travel to the Nats! We could still be "competing" with guys from the other districts!
Publish the top judges and the top competitors in each class in the K-Factor.
