Don't remember how much it weighed. But the wings on the Swallow were a lot heavier than the wings on the Excelleron. The wing on the Swallow with the AL tube glued-in to join the wing halves and with the Gel coated belly pan was really heavy. Using the same engine/muffler/prop combination, I would run out of stream at the top of loops with the Swallow. It would just mush over the top.
Basically the same parts were in both models. Same engine, muffler, prop, and servos. The battery is new as it was time to replace it.

Well the weather cleared enough for one test flight this afternoon. And then the rain rolled back in before its scheduled arrival. Anyway this plane few just great. Not sure you can ask for more out of an ARF at this cost and size. Much smoother than the Swallow I had. The OS91FX was a better match power wise for the Excelleron than the Swallow. Is a cold day here so power is up, but vertical was almost unlimited. This is one is a keeper. Does knife edge across the field without any apparent coupling.
OS91FX - muffler with exhast extension and perry carb
APC 13X8
Fut 9202 servos
CG 7.25 inches back.
