Adjustable stab weight

On my EMC the stab weights including the elevators are as follows;

Before Monokote After Monokote, hinges installed and
gap sealed with clear Ultracote ( Radio South hinges, 5 on each stab half ).
Left side 61gr ~ 2.2 oz 74gr ~ 2.6oz
Right side 68gr ~ 2.4oz 81gr ~ 2.9oz

This is a plug in stab. The adjustable part is Dick Hansons KISS method, a
plywood laminated plate 5/32" thick and approximately 3/4" wide parallel to
the stab tube through the fuse that sticks out past the fuse about 3/4" on
each side. Hard points are installed in the stab over these "tabs" and a
button head wood screw is used to retain the stab half from underneath. The
ply plate is installed such that about 3/32" or so of shim is required to
get stab 0 degrees to thrust line. Add or subtract shims to adjust the
stab.Stabs but up against fiberglass fuse, no filet. Inside fuse a piece of
3/32" balsa about 2'" wide runs lengthwise from the rear fuse bulkhead to
the tailpost on each side of fuse. the stab tube and stab
adjustment/mounting plate runs through these 3/32" balsa fuse doublers.
There is no part of the stab installed in the fuse. Very stiff, no stab
wiggle side to side or up and down. I used PBG CF wing and stab tubes and
Gator sleeves, originally I was going to use aluminum wing and stab tubes
till I was convinced the CF would hold up.
