YS Plug with Webra 1.45

Could be a bad batch of plugs, but I would be very concerned. Premature plug
blowing can be caused by lean runs, or worse, metal particles.

Never happened to me, but a few cases discussed on this list of the bearings
shedding metal.

I've tried the YS plugs twice with my 1.45. Worked, but never as good as the
F.

Subject: YS Plug with Webra 1.45

  Hello all,

I have a question and I'm sorry if it has been beat to death with the long
Webra problems thread that was on here a while back. I have been using OS
Type F plugs in my 1.45 since I got it about 2 years ago and they have been
doing fantastic. However, out of the last 5 I bought, 4 have been bad right
out of the package. I talked to the owner of the LHS where I bought the
plugs and he said that he really couldn't do anything about it since that is
really a hit or miss proposition. So needless to say, I am somewhat
irritated with OS plugs and that hobby shop at the moment. I was telling a
buddy of mine at the field today and he suggested that I try the YS plugs.
Since I have acquired a YS .63 and 1.10, I would like to try the plugs out
on them as well.

  Any input? Thanks alot,

  Sincerely,

  Ryan Smith
