Artistic Aerobatics

This last weekend we ran an Artistics Aerobatics event at the conclusion of
the regular flying Sunday morning.  To say the least, this was something
different and the feedback was very positive. What? Spectators at a Pattern
contest?  Yes, we had people that came out just to watch this event!

We had three entrants.  Eric Henderson won it flying a very precise, yet
aerobatic sequence with his Focus 3D.  It was very impressive.  Unlike the
IMAC kind of freestyle, the AA provided a lot of precision in the routine.
We will be running an AA event again at next year's NVRC pattern contest.
