OS 160 soft mount question

Gents,
A pattern buddy of mine has just got his running.
I made him a Hyde style mount, but I increased the diameter of the isolator. The ply plate was 83 mm, then you add two layers of inner tube to that...I cant tell you the overall diameter..cant remember right now.
It is working absolutely faultlessly.
My friend CNC'd a new backplate and mounted a spare OS 140 pump to this new backplate. I believe the machinist charges 100 Aussie dollars for the backplates or 2 cases of "Carlton Crown Lager" (hehehehe...the good old 'universal currency'!)
A couple of subtle pump adjustments on the bench and the thing runs like a train. Good and very cheap set-up.

Vincente,
Which Hyde mount should I use, and do you know where I can order a Mueller header? At this point I am inclined to go with a OS 160 because I can buy the engine, pipe, header and half the mount for the same money as an OS 140. I think the weight penalty will be 4 - 6 oz but with the power loading I don't think it will matter al that much. What do you think?
Thanks, Rich

Yes, in the pattern community Hyde mounts could be considered the best option. My personal recommendation is: do NOT hard mount the engine. There are other options there, but the Hyde mount could be the best option for your particular situation. Note: I am not sponsored by Mr. Hyde.

Guys,
Please let me know how you are mounting this engine. I assume most are using Hyde mounts, please let me know which one. Is anyone hard mounting the engine? Anyone using any home made mounts?
Thanks, Rich
