Vinyl Application

Anyone have experience with applying vinyl film over compound curves? For instance to apply trim colors to a white based fuselage.

Also, any experience relative to longevity of vinyl film in the presence of nitro fuels would be interesting to hear about.

And if this doesnt work, any experiences removing vinyl film from surfaces?

I noticed some shiny vinyl colors in a sign shop the other day, got me thinking.
