Del,
My experience is that frequency of flying and/or weather will
not affect bearing life. I have maybe 600 flts on one of my 91FXs. It
has set on the shelf for several different periods and still feels very
nice. Nat

Do you feel that flying infrequently & in high humidity areas that
will still apply?

Fuel selection is not the cause of bearing failure in the two
strokes. Apparently it is due to the products of combustion.
If you will run sealed, stainless rear bearings your problems wil be
over. Do not run dry, do not run afterrun oil. Do not
remove any seals. Provide adequate crankcase and head
cooling. Nat Penton
