Webra Problems--Some Solutions

Oh GORDON,
One more thing....When having motor issues...do ever let the model get into
a situation where you can't make it back to the field. I see guys do this
all the time...They take off and the motor is constantly quitting so they
get low and slow downwind or come out of a spin really low at mid box in a
decent wind...and the result is a broke airplane....Always give yourself
some altitude to deal with....The question I smack people in the back of the
head with....is OK your plane is right there and the motor dies....What are
you going to do?
Because you are too low and too slow to make it back to the runway, and you
have no options at all. Always ask yourself the question...if the motor dies
not what do I do....If the answer is put it down in the bush.....then you
are not doing your job...Your job is to protect the model. We all have dead
sticks....and when struggling with a motor issue as we all have.....they
happen. Just makes sure what every happens you are not too low, not too slow
and not too far away to make the runway.
Food for thought....and ask yourself that question when you are flying
practice sessions....always ask the question...you will be able to keep your
model out of trouble better.
