Perry pump instructions

I do it a little different from most people. I have one that works great on
a MOKI 1.8.
Try & try until you find a setting that it will run.
Adjust the full throttle needle setting to what you like.
Shut it down and note the number of turns out that the needle has from
seated.
Adjust the pump pressure until the engine is happy at two turns off bottom.
Adjust idle to suit.

Why, you ask? Because all of the OS engines I have had like to run at about
two turns out! I deduce that is due to the needle design. If you set it up
for something like four turns out you will need a lot of glow plugs. If you
set it up for something like one turn out, you will never get the idle where
you are happy!

I have not used a Perry Carb, but if I did I would follow their
instructions.

Any body ever build there own pump? It sounds interesting...
