Smaragd Rebuild

Long story short, My Smaragd helicoptered in first flight. I have repaired the front and am in the painting stages.

The chin cowl doesn't fit the same as before the crash(golly)
leaving 2 questions.

1) Will a gap in the fit of the chin cowl adversely effect airflow around the engine(DZ). Did not cut out the side holes, but plenty of aircooling holes in the bottom.
2) The thrust line had to be effected because the chin cowl has a gap in the middle adding some downthrust(sanded some up thrust into the nose) and moving the thrust line down slightly(probably) What ill effects can I expect. I did do the Quique mods to add up thrust originally.

Lastly, with the fiberglass on the inside, putty on the outside how much weight did I incure? Didn't weigh before first flight but felt very very light. Will the Smargd fly well at 10lb 15oz?

Thanx for speculation and hopefully in a week or 2 I'll have answers.
