  Midland contest is a go!  Many guys stay at the Microtel Inn in Matthews phone #(704)814-9131.  There are several motels available in the Matthews area.  Jerry Plyler will run the lines with John Ferrell scoring.  Also I-485 beltway is open from I-85 to stateroute 24/27.
