6V packs on digitals...

Hello all,

I have heard a few days ego about 6V packs not suitable for using with digitals.
I have Airtronics ERG-VB, and am using 6V packs for a while. Should I expect a
problem with it? Should it shorten servo's expected life-time? Any other
problems I may not be aware of using this arrangement?

Airtronics do specify the servo's specifications using 6V... so I'm a bit
confused.
