That's cool ... if you've got enough ponies, then I am genuinely happy, but I would assert with almost religious fervor (can I get an AMEN out there Pattern brothers?) that the only adequate amount of power is MORE!
After all, we want it all, and we want it right now.
have fun,
Dean

Well, I have the utmost respect for both Karl and Dean, and then it seems there is more of a power increase than I ever thought, but then if I have enough power with something as simple as a muffler then it good enough for me I love the reliable natural and ease of operation, in fact I was at a contest 2 years ago flying a near 11 LB. Focus with an OS 140 RX the Bolly 590r muffler, flying advanced pattern it has a stall turn with 1/2 rolls one of the Chicago crowd that ran YS's made the comment that "did you see that he done his 1/2 roll and didn't have enough power to center the roll then he gave it more throttle and climbed to where he needed to be", I'm not saying this is right for everyone but if someone is having trouble it is a simple solution to many problems, giving more time for practice and not trying to get something to work, I had the same problem with the Webra 145 Aero X just was so slobbery rich in mid range sometime would take 40 seconds to clear changed to the Bolly muffler and it has ran like a top sense.
Like I said it's not a cure all but is simple, like me.
Dean I have been reading your articles for about 20 years now and love what you bring to the table, so PLEASE don't get me wrong.
Steve Maxwell
