Buddy,
If you look into the end of the pipe, stinger end, you can see the last
baffle and the two exhaust holes 180 deg from each other at the outer edge
of the baffle plate. You can open these up with a drill going in thru the
stinger or put a couple of additional holes in the baffle. As it comes,
there's just a little too much back pressure which reduces power about 100
rpm. Opening the baffle up will increase the noise a bit (about 1 db. with
the sound meter mike focused on the exhaust), and bring the power back up
by getting the back pressure where it needs to be. The only thing to be
careful of, is if you open up a couple of new holes 90 deg. to the existing
ones, don't get to close to the edge of the baffle plate because you can
drill out the pins that hold the plate in the pipe body. Putting one
additional hole right in the middle of works also.

I am not familiar with the MAC muffler, How do you open the holes? Does
the muffler come apart or can you get to the holes from the pipe connection?
