My thought on this Marty are that a supporter and member of NSRCA should
get the nod. Johnny come lately because it was pointed out to them if
they joined could get the hardware if the joined then and there went for
it. Was it legal? Apparently. Did it give the right message and promote
the intended joining and membership on the NSRCA. I don't see how that
argument holds water. If 5 separate people think they have potential to
go for the championship and join at the beginning of the year versus all
5 waiting to see who really is going to win to pony up from that
perspective the NSRCA loses.
Course some people are used to bending the rules and accepting that
are normal and acceptable behavior. I choose to follow all the rules all
the time as my lively hood demands the highest set of ethical standards.
It follows me throughout my life. What occurred hear I don't care how it
is painted STINKS.

Didn't he outfly the unhappy fellow?

On a consistent basis?

Isn't that primarily what pattern competition is about?

Doesn't this fellow deserve the trophy on merit
as well as on technicalities (he did, in fact,
pay his dues)?

I'm on the side of the better pilot.

I understand that reasonable people of good will
can disagree with me.
