Shaking Up Fuel Bottles?

During my controline days of flying speed and using high nitromethane
content in excess of 50% with castor oil, the fuel solution would
definitely separate. That is why we added a few percent of nitrobenzene
(good stuff) smelled like shoe polish. This aided in the mixing of the fuel
components.
