Ron I would derive no pleasure from and Ole Geezer event. The pleasure to me is being able to play the game with the best and know where you stand ( ug !), win or lose. We do not need additional categories.

There you go again! The Nat's are for all classes and if there is going to be a Masters "Old Geezers Shootout " Then there should be an Advanced and Intermediate "Old Geezers Shootout" also. If you observe closely you will see that there some Old Geezers who may never get to Masters that deserve the recognition that competition brings to the sport.
I think there should be an Old Geezers High Point Award for the Old Geezer regardless of class who scores the highest percentage of a perfect score. The only thing required is to pay for the Award all the math required is already being done. If money is a problem charge a ten dollar Old Geezer entry fee to pay for them.
This could possibly increase Nat's attendance by bringing in those who do not attend because they feel that they cannot be competitive against most of the younger group but would jump at the chance to be the "Champion Old Geezer."

I submitted the suggestion of having a "Nats Master Geezer Champion" with tongue firmly in cheek. HOWEVER, if it is desired that we have an "Nats All Class Geezer Champion" for over-60 pilots, with the criteria being the highest percentage of perfect score, we can do that. In fact, I will sponsor it and pay any expenses. What say all you "youth challenged" pilots out there - do you want a "Geezer Champ" award?
