That is correct for AMA. There is a new schedule for FAI. Any changes that
are to be pass from the survey and rules change proposals will be up for
final AMA Contest Board vote in 2004. Those that pass will become effective
January 1, 2005.
I am working now on getting all 100 pages (roughly) of the original rules
proposals up on the NSRCA web site in a PDF format so that the membership
can review them and contact their AMA District Contest Board member for
recommendations. This will take some time, but I hope to have it up soon..
The reason for this is to allow the membership to see the complete proposal,
including the rational of the propose. The proposals that are printed in
Model Aviation are greatly shortened, due to space requirements.
