Talking about the 2004 NATS....

I'm considering attending the NATs my 1st year in Intermediate. My goal is
achievable, but still a challenge. It's to place in the top 25 of my
class....<g>

However, I'm concerned about the safety factor of other pilots in my debut.
As Harry Slone and Verne Koester pointed out last year at every contest I
attended, I had problems with straight and level flight as the wings would
rapidly rock from side to side as well as rapid pitch change. The problem
with level flight also provided for great feedback from Tim Pizara while
calling for me. He is the only one that jumped back and said, "Larry, Your
Scaring Me!!!!", as I pulled through the top of the loop over the Judges
heads...<VBG>...What great memories for my 1st year in pattern...!!!!! Any
way....

Who is supplying the knee braces that are designed to keep them from
knocking and shaking?

After in-depth analysis, I have found the root cause to be my knees shaking
so hard that I can't hold the radio still. This caused a rapid movement of
the sticks as the oscillation of my knees reached my hands and thumbs
causing the radio to shake violently.

I feel I have a shot at being competitive and finishing in the top 25 if I
can stabilize the tremble...<VBG>
