Bolly EQ140R Lengths?

Setting up my Mintor 1.70 with this pipe;  Bolly info on pkg says
"720mm", which is a L-O-N-G pipe (over 29")....using a APC 17 x 12, or
15.5 x 12-4blade....target around 8000-8100.
    I know some of you are running this pipe in that rpm range...any
help on tuning length to start?  Or is the 29" really "right" ???
