140L idle

Hey everyone. Have a friend with an extemely strong 140L that has ran
perfectly all summer long on magnum #2 with a 16.5X12APC. About 4 weeks
ago, it started dieing during the landing sequence, sometimes on approach
others just after touch down, without any change to the idle trim. On the
ground, the thing would idle for over a minute and not sag and transition
was good to full throttle.

We have done all we can think off. Throttle linkage was changed out,
Throttle barrel arm changed out, everything replaced. All fuel lines were
replaced. Valve cover was found to be warped a little so new gasket(leak
free) and valve cover(sanded flat also), Valves checked, Diaphagm was
changed.

We aren't new to YS's, but this has us baffled. He has tried adjusting both
pump and low end adjustments but still experience erratic idle, towards end
of flight.

Any suggestions??

Thanks in advance.

ed
