Guest policy

Lots of members travel more than 30 miles each way and the annual dues are
only $30 anyway...

I suggested that concept earlier for half rate at 60 miles and got shouted
down. Lets face it: Some people just cannot imagine having friends that are
willing to drive a couple of hours to just to get together and fly.

There was an organization of the local clubs that allowed flying privileges
at other clubs for a half rate membership. We came out as the bad guys
because you could join our club and join the other club at half price and
pay less than a full membership at the other club!

We just deal with it on a day by day basis. We had a fun fly last month and
half the participants were pattern flyers. Did you ever see anyone try to
break a balloon by diving straight down on it? That strategy demands a good
first try, you don't get a second one.... unless of course someone is
foolish enough to loan you another airplane!
