Recently a good sized contest was held near here in NC with no sanction, 
because someone dropped the ball.  It wasn't the end of the world.  It 
was explained to the pilots, and nobody packed up and went home. 
BTW: e-mail me off list with your phone number and when you would be 
available to talk.  You asked for a briefing by someone who was on the 
IMAC board when we were able to liberate ourselves from some of the AMA  
oversight.  I was on the IMAC board at that time, and can explain the 
chronology.  It would require a lot of typing, but I can explain 
verbally in not too much time.
