Troy,
I'm looking for several things. I use the 9V for pattern and other planes.
1. I've tried using two channels for two elevator servos on a 7 channel PPM
receiver. I can succesfully mix to get two servos working, but if it is on a
channel normally controlled by a switch, the switch still functions, or if it
is controlled by a knob, the knob still functions. Not good! Is there any
way to do it so the knob/switch is out of the equation?
2. Is there any way to reassign switch functions to another switch?
3. Is there any way to get one rate control switch to control another rate,
say aileron and elevator together so I only have to flip one switch for high
rates?
4. The transmitter has an "idle up" lever on the left hand side. There is
nothing in the instructions about how to use it other than a mention about
using it in conjuction with propellor pitch in the front of the manual. But then
there is nothing in the pitch mix instructions about how to use it. Am I
missing something? I guess I could try turning on pitch mix and see what
happens, but is there any way other than that to control what that lever does? Or is
it a vestage of this transmitter also having a helicopter version and it has
no practical value to me? And turning on pitch mix would negate using channel
8 for any other purpose on an 8 or 9 channel receiver.
5. I'd like to use a switch for an engine idle kill function. Any way to
do it other than simply using the idle trim? Maybe the airbrake
(throttle-pitch mix) switch?
6. I think I've puzzled out the use of AFR vs. ATV. But I would like to
know how you used the two.
Thanks.
