Worlds e-mail answers....LONG

Jason,

I for one think you did a TERRIFIC job. The magnitude of what you did at the
worlds, I think, will probably not be realised for some time yet. BUT...
wait a couple of years and I think Mr OS and Yamada San will  have something
to be concerned about!

I must admit though, personally, I am sitting on the fence right now, happy
to watch others do the hard work with this technology. For years I was out
on a limb with aeroplane design, development etc at the expense of my flying
practice...so now I'll let others do the work on this one.

For what its worth.. I can honestly say that most pattern fliers down here
in the land of Oz would change to electric as fast as you  could flick a
switch...but at this point ( maybe through misinformation..I dont know) the
battery technology  and price is what is scaring everyone at this point in
time.

I fully understand that for all of this to propagate and to develop, it will
take more people to just have a go..you alone cannot possibly achieve all
the development which may need to take place. So I guess if I think about
this much longer, I may just talk myself into an electric F3A <VBG>!!

In any case, congratulations again, keep up the fantastic work...and get the
information out there, and oh yes...sorry..but Australian pattern fliers are
watching..very carefully!!!
