JR 10 Ch. Receivers on Ebay

If you buy something that was not imported by the US distributor it is
not covered by the same warrantee as units that were imported and sold
in the US. You would have to send it back to the country where it was
purchased and if that country does not have a repair facility, it would
have to go to the factory. For a paid repair, it probably could be done
by an independent repair person. Most of the time I have noticed that it
involves helicopter stuff that can easily be ordered and shipped to the
USA as 'repair parts'.
I know of at least one YS 140-L that was bought this way.
Sometimes the equipment is the same but has a different model number
such as the JR 8103 is known as JR 8301 in Australia and New Zealand and
probably elsewhere.

Note that the eBay auction does not say what band these receivers are on
however, it is probably an oversight.

I just bought a Sony camera and I bought it from the Sony online store
just to make sure that I got a unit with a US warrantee.
