remote glow

I think the DuBro unit with the little clip that fits over the glow plug is
the best, although it is a heavy unit if you keep all of the parts. To save
weight you can convert to a small mini-jack and plug.

The Sullivan spring loaded units that fit over the plug didn't last long for
me. The wires vibrated and broke. I was using the OS A5 plugs and the post
is too short, so I had to make a metal cap to fit over the top of the plug
to make it work. It worked upright, but inverted there wasn't enough spring
pressure to hold the unit tight enough.

Subject: remote glow

I'm looking into a remote glow device for my DZ. Can somebody recommend a
particular manufacturer/model? I'm looking for something that does not
fling off, and does not wear out quickly or break easily.

Thanks in advance.
