I personally think Ihncheol's email here would make a great article in the next KFactor.

Beside all those 120/140 size current Pattern kits. I know followings are available. I don't have price info for any others.

Creek Hobbies Quest 3D $250 + shipping: new design 3D, Pattern. Currently on eBay (if you are closer to NJ it should be cheaper, I have to pay over $52 just for shipping to ID).

World Model Zen 90: Pattern, retracts or new version with fixed gear should be available soon.)
Swallow EX: Pattern / 3D (as long as it comes out as advertised, it sounds ok)
GP UCD3D: low cost 3D/Pattern, but need to dial out lots of coupling problems. RCU has a very long thread on this.

Kyosho G-Trick: Well known design ARF, 90 size.
Hirobo Stream 90 FAI/Hyper: A little hard to find, but better than G-trick as it is a later version of G Naruke's Japanese ARF.

JR Propo Explorer 90 FAI: limited quantity show up on eBay.

    Kits:

    Joe Bridi : http://www.bridiradiocontrol.com/
CA model (available also through Doug Cronkite)
Widebody 60/90 Kit: 3D/Pattern (need to cut out the control surfaces, so you can cut them smaller for Pattern)
Eclipse 120/140 kit: 120/140 glass fuse, sheeted wing etc.

    From Japan: Pilot Seduction 90, MK Skystar 90, Wild7 90, Wildbeat 90, Extra 300 90, Super VR 90,
Flight Hobbies: Stage 90, Grandslam 90. http://www.flighthobby.com (In Japanese, but has lot of pictures)
MK & Pilot kits available through Singapore Hobby http://www.singahobby.com

All the above should to very good job.
    Hope this helps,

    Ihncheol

I'm looking for recommendations for a .90 to 1.20 size
delux kit, ARC or ARF plane suitable for Sportsman pattern.

I know there has been lots of reviews & reports of such
birds lately - but I'd appreciate current suggestions of
planes and where to get them. The bird is intended for
a recently soloed pilot - he learned on park flyers and is now
flying a Sig Somethin Extra. He is an aggressive, and
      un-disciplined pilot, but shows talent.

      Thanks, Ron Lockhart
