I had a similar problem a couple years ago. It turned out to be a pin hole in the fuel line inside the tank. After a lot of messing, it turned out the fuel line had a pinhole right at the end of the tubing sticking through the rubber stopper.Good luck, Terry

Subject: YS DZ 140 Problem
Hi All,
The problem started about 10 flights ago. I started to feel that on the lines up, the engine loses power.
The situation got worse although all the needle set up I tried (I tried to make it richer and leaner).
Today we had a contest, on the first round, when I did the P-03 figure 9, the engine stopped running on the top.
On the second and the third rounds, the engine stopped running immediately after take off.
On the ground the engine worked OK, but when I got to the air, the engine stopped after a few seconds.
I changed the plug, the fuel, tried to reset the needle valve and the ideal screw and it didn't help.
Does anybody know what can be the problem?
Please help.
Isaac Najary, Israel
