Modelltechnik Rhapsody

Compadre,
It is very easy to get the midrange so lean that the engine starves there.
The idle mixture controls the mid-range, and the main needle is less effective there.
Short pipe length richens the middle as well.
Do yourself a favor, after setting the top end, put the engine at mid throttle and pinch the fuel line to see if you are too lean.
Don't be surprised if its too lean to hear the Rs pick up.
Good luck and let me know what's happening.
Dean

I'm running two OS-F's, so it sputters from low to high power. I've been
told to get some A5's in there to take care of the problem, so I ordered
some finally. I'll report over the weekend.

Transition?
What does it do ... more to the point, mine has utterly impeccable table
manners!
I'm curious if there's a problem.

So far, so good. Going to cut the header a bit and stick the ES pipe back
on. Transition should improve tomorrow when I get some A5 plugs. Got to love
the power, especially in my heavy planes.

Hey Jason,
How's you 170 running?
Are you still running it?

Did someone post something about having one of these a little while ago? If
so, can someone steer me to the site again.
Thanks,
Jason
