I can remember hearing this repeatedly YEARS ago; about it not being good for bonding to fiberglass. It's simply not flexible enough when cured and will 'pop' off...and yes, it does remain heavy when cured! Very handy stuff for other applications though.

Hobby Shack...errr...ahhh..Hobby People it is now has HP #3...good stuff
but heavy and it will pop off a fiberglass fuse...even if you sand the
fuse and clean it with acetone.
I use GE Silicone ll to attach to fiberglass.

Roger,
Go to www.fiberglast.com and click on "Fiber, Fillers & Extenders."
There you will find Thixotropic Silica. You just add it to your regular
epoxy and there you have it.

I am looking for a Hobby Shop (Mail Order) which carries HOBBYPOXY
Formula 3 Thixotropic Epoxy Glue. It comes in two metal cans and will
not run on application. Name of shop and phone number are greatly
appreciated.
Thanks,
